Gifts from the Kilkenny shed
Give something they will still use in thirty years.
Solid hardwood gifts for weddings, anniversaries, retirements, and Christmas. Built to order by Seamus, engraved if you want, and packed ready to hand over.
Ordering for Christmas 2026
Every piece is made to order (made to order · 1 to 2 week build). For Christmas delivery across Ireland, reserve by 5 December 2026. For international tracked shipping, reserve by 21 November 2026. Engraving does not usually add time, but leave a few days if you want edits to the wording.
Need it sooner? Message Seamus on WhatsApp and we will see what the shed can manage.
Weddings
Engraved dates, initials, or a wooden map of Ireland for the couple who already have the crockery.
Anniversaries
A board they will cook on together for decades. Quiet, useful, and better than another bottle of wine.
Retirements
Something for the kitchen they finally have time to enjoy. Heavy timber, their name if they want it.
Christmas & seasonal
Gift-ready packaging, board butter included on kitchen pieces, and tracked shipping across Ireland and abroad.
Engraving that feels personal, not loud
Add +€15 on any kitchen board at checkout, or ask for a custom layout on maps and larger commissions.
01
Initials & monograms
Two or three letters, Roman serif or a softer script. Clean and lasting.
02
Wedding & milestone dates
The day that matters, cut into the timber so it stays part of the piece.
03
Short messages
A line of thanks, a family name, or a place that means home. Keep it short for the cleanest result.
Packed ready to give
Kitchen orders leave the shed in kraft paper with a wax seal and a complimentary tin of Kilkenny board butter. No plastic clamshells. No mystery warehouse label. Just a piece that feels like it came from a real workshop.
